The Von Terra Project strives to bridge the gap between people, policy, and technology to connect communities, build cybersecurity resilience, strengthen preparedness, optimize response, and fortify our collective defenses against emerging challenges.
Our Focus
We Need Mentors More Than We Need Money
The Von Terra Project funds cybersecurity certifications for people held back by cost rather than ability. Funding is not what limits how many we can take. Mentors are. A candidate paired with someone who has done the work finishes; a candidate on their own usually does not.
The ask is roughly one to two hours a week for a six-month cycle, and you choose whether you take one, two, or three candidates. You do not teach the material and you do not pay for anything. You are the person who tells them the truth about the field.
