Colton is a proud husband, leader, cyber professional, business owner, and founder of The Von Terra Project. Helping others is his life’s work. Over the past 16 years, he has dedicated himself to public service by working to bring stability and understanding to complex, tense, and uncertain environments. His career has spanned national security, leadership, policy making, and cybersecurity, all with a focus on defending critical systems against emerging threats.
Colton's expertise has taken him across the globe to complex environments, including Guantanamo Bay as an Intelligence NCOIC, Israel as a student of security studies, Kenya as an advisor in developing national defensive cyberspace capabilities, multiple deployments with USCYBERCOM actively countering threats in real-time, and across the country with the National Guard and FEMA partnerships. With a deep passion for security, resilience, and strategic innovation, he continuously seeks to bring together people, policy, and technology.Education
